Welcome to Anjuman-e-Burhani, NJ. We are a non-profit organization administering and managing the affairs of the Dawoodi Bohra community in New Jersey, USA.
The Central New Jersey Dawoodi Bohra community is made up of a set of highly accomplished professionals, entrepreneurs, and public servants. As citizens of The United States, our guiding philosophy is succinctly summarized by the principle: love of one’s nation is a core tenet of faith.
Furthermore, we encourage our members to acquire both a world-class religious and secular-humanist education. In August 2004, His Holiness Syedna Muhammad Burhanudidin RA, the incumbent Syedna’s late father, visited East Brunswick to inaugurate our local Masjid and granted it the name Al-Masjid-Al-Zainee. More than 3,000 members of our community, along with local and state elected officials and other dignitaries, attended this auspicious event. Currently, about 1,000 Dawoodi Bohra community members are settled in central New Jersey and frequent this center of worship. Read more >
